I can not sleep (hence insomnia references), but I am too tired to do anything. Luckily this is my safe space so I can defrag my thoughts a bit and either no one will read it, or people will be at my site. It’s a win-win. I use a lot of pictures, you can blame it on me growing up on ‘Illustrated Classics‘.

Insomnia Leads To Rediscovering Myspace

I added a logo, because I figured people being able to navigate back was important. I should add an up-vote feature. When I list any change I make, I can upvote it. Perhaps some kind of gold star system instead. I still have a to-do, make a post in the style of Myspace with my edgy music included. That’s a good idea. Please remind me so I don’t forget after I pass out.

Insomnia Leads To Strange ideas involving Russian dogs

There have to be aliens right? I mean life seems so resistant on earth, mass extinctions and it just continues like nothing ever happened. I hope we make a discovery soon, but it’s a twisted discovery, like Laika. That’s the dog Russians launched. What If Laika made it to some alien planet, but due to speed, all that was left was the corpse, and alien life examined it. They [aliens] then come to the conclusion that dogs are the dominant species on Earth, and have developed inter-universal space travel. Hijinks ensue.

I hope you have a great day mysterious reader that statistically is going to me, but if you aren’t me, you have a great day too.

Well, I want every post to have something for everyone, and not just me babbling about nothing. That is why, speaking of aliens, I am going to recommend a book.

I am a huge fan of the Bobiverse series. It is particularly good when I have Insomnia and want to listen to an audiobook. The author, Dennis E. Taylor use to be a programmer, an interesting fact. I read a lot of Sci-Fi and at least at the end of the second book, it has checked all the boxes of what I want in Sci-Fi. It at times is funny, but mostly serious, it has an Ender Game kind of feel to it with references of xenophobia and genocide. I would love if you read it and then told me your thoughts.

This is a cool new things that I 'discovered'. If you have been watching The Queen's Gambit on Netflix, a very good miniseries that follows the life of Beth Harmon, then you can now play a Beth Harmon bot on chess.com
